Behind the scenes

We were all a little nervous, lots of jokes about "whatever you do don't drop it".

In the end a remarkable experience.

HTFU.....

i m considering start a company of Markers...... Black permanent markers. Those would be certified markers that could be use to make letters HTFU on your clothing only when you really know you deserve it! Why this idea, well,

this guy, Mark Gingrich started HTFU.com. I have no problem with it. I dont necessarly agree or support it but that stop there. I just voice my opinion in a respectfull maner on slowtwitch!

Well, this Mark guy, under a anonymous name of HTFU.com came to slowtwitch (a triathlon forum) to insult me and call me name. That show class, guts, and confidence to do such thing. Well, he also said he would sued everyone that call him by his name and bla bla bal. Well, i m canadian and there is no law suit in canada... so

Mark Gingrich, we will meet at some races...should be fun! You could have simply in a respectfull maner disagree with me and go on your venture and persue..but you went ahead and had to insult, and try to bring someone down under anonymous name..

Now, you want to bet i can sell more markers than you sell HTFU clothing? ;)

I think i could sell those for about 10$ + shipping. My cost is about 4$...so 6$ of profit on each..... all the profit will go to something like maybe getting one more bike in jordan's charity mission or something else that would be good!

Now, what is so awesome about my system is, you can make, blue HTFU using the blue marker, you can make green one using the green marker or red one using the ....well, you get the point! You can probably make 100 shirt or 1000 visor!

ok....go!

Winning by committing to process process process

from the Hawaii Ironman press conference;

Crowie, the winner (again).

“There were a lot of bad patches today. Last year to win was exciting but this year is more rewarding because it was a different race. It was a harder race. This year I had to work at it and chip away for every mile on the bike and the run.”

“There are some great bike riders in our group. I felt the pace was slid early. I got dropped two or three times on the way up to Hawi. The thing is, my main focus was just to give a good title defense and put in a performance I could be proud of.”

“I didn’t attack [Lieto] I just found a rhythm. But I didn’t feel that fluid motion I felt last year. Today I felt like I had to work for every second.”

“I think a lot about my family out there. They sacrifice a lot for me; we travel a lot. I certainly feel, not a pressure or obligation, but a duty to the people who make my career possible. I don’t want to let them down. It’s nice to give something back with a good performance.”

Lisa making Colin look like a VERY VERY lucky man.

Congrats guys!!!!

an old friend raises money for a very worthy cause.

from Chris Spooner

Hey All,

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease almost 14 years ago to the month. My better half Melissa has been actively involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America(CCFA) for the past 3 years as National Run Coach for the team challenge ½ marathon prog ram and this year she has involved me. So I'm training for and will race the ½ marathon in Vegas on December 6th. This is our first time involved with fundraising and, as you can appreciate, the cause holds a special place in our heart. Currently there is no cure or even a real understanding as to what causes Crohn’s or Colitis and so it is through fundraising that we hope we can shed some light on these diseases and perhaps make it easier for those dealing with disease.

Please visit my fundraising page and if you have the chance to donate we would be very grateful – our goal is to raise $5,000.00... any contribution make a big difference in finding a cure for Crohn’s and Colitis. If you know of someone else who you feel would like to donate please pass on the link that you will find below – as every little bit helps –
