The rowers are amazing.
Simply put I am floored by the Canadian mens eight. I admire their dedication and total commitment, they quietly talk the talk and they most certainly walk the walk. They own a subtle underlying confidence that is backed up by an enormous amount of hard work and belief in self.
I read the following article out loud, it's been so inspiring to have had the opportunity to get to know some of these guys and reading this article reminded me just how bloody hard they work and the principles on which that hard work is done.
My motto this year has been;
"just go faster",
they are basically saying;
"just destroy them".

I like the attitude of showing up to Bejing ready to win even if you have a bad day!!
So...as a hypothetical, even if you take a fall on the bike or some such thing, you will have the courage and condition to come back and win the gold on the run :-) Greg
